
Freshwater
Fresh water is available at Port Akdeniz 24 hours a day seven days a week. It is provided from valves located on every pier. Fresh water supply capacity is on the order of 15-20 tons an hour.
Analysis reports for the water being supplied at the port are available and copies can be provided on request.
Waste Collection Services
Waste collection services are proved at Port Akdeniz 24 hours a day seven days a week.
All vessels in port are required to surrender their waste sorted as prescribed by MARPOL 73/78. The port does not accept any waste of a medical, hazardous, or chemical nature whatsoever.
Greywater, Bilge Water, and Sludge
Greywater, bilge water, and sludge services can be provided at Port Akdeniz if notification is made at least 48 hours in advance of a vessel’s arrival. Greywater, bilge water, and sludge is collected by means of tanker trucks.
Piloting and Towing Services
At Port Akdeniz, any vessel in excess of 500 gross tons must take on a pilot and any vessel in excess of 2,000 gross tons must be towed. Both types of service are provided 24 hours a day seven days a week.
Requests for piloting services should be made at least one hour prior to estimated time of arrival (ETA) and at least one hour prior to estimated time of departure (ETD).
Health Services
Emergency ambulance service is provided on request.
Fueling
Fueling services can be provided if notification is made at least 48 hours before a vessel’s arrival.
Security Services
The cruise docks, passenger terminal and luggage storage area are all checked by cameras. X-ray machines at the exit and entrance of the luggage room and terminal building are avaliable. Necessary fire alarms, smoke detectors are avaliable. Sea patrol is avaliable according to the ISPS. Private security is avaliable 7/24 hours.
Telephone & Wirelless
Internet access is avaliable for passengers and crew.
Parking
A designated area is avaliable approximately 40 number for tour buses&midibuses and 30 number for car park.
Taxis
Inside the terminal area cab stand is avaliable.
Security
Prohibited actions
The following activities are explicitly forbidden anywhere inside the port boundaries and/or aboard any vessel so long as it is in port:
• Scraping and painting of any kind
• Cleaning of any kind (including washing with clean water)
• Throwing any waste of any kind into the sea
• Any broadcasting in the MF-HF bands
• Burning any form of waste; causing noisome amounts of smoke.
• Fishing, swimming, or diving.
• Discharging bilge water or any other waste into the sea
• Blowing horns except in emergencies
• Discharging any waste of a medical, flammable/combustible, radioactive, or chemical nature.
Authorizations
1. If a vessel that is tied up to one of our piers is to take on fuel, both the Antalya harbormaster and the Port Akdeniz administration must be notified at least 24 hours in advance.
All technical safety measures pertaining to fueling operations must be in compliance with MARPOL 73/78. Port Akdeniz is authorized to check this compliance. (When fuel is to be transferred, firefighting vehicles fully equipped to deal with fuel-related fires and vehicles equipped with chemical foam generators etc must be on hand in the transfer area and when necessary, fuel/oil overflow barriers must also be set in place to prevent any pollution. These services may be provided for a charge upon request.)
2. In the event of any fuel spillage or the occurrence of any other unsafe condition, Port Akdeniz authorities must be notified immediately via the VHF 16 channel (pilot operating channel 12-14).
3. Minor repair work may be performed on vessels with the prior permission of the Antalya harbormaster and of Port Akdeniz authorities.
4. Vessels in port must be kept in a state of readiness at all times so as to make an emergency departure on short notice if the need should arise.
Required riggings
The following equipment etc must be readily available aboard any vessel at all times while it is in Port Akdeniz:
1. Safety netting below gangways
2. Guard netting for use between the vessel and waste collectors
3. Rodent guards on all mooring lines.
